Admittedly, I didn’t grow up in the search industry. Needless to say, I’m not your traditional recruiter.

I’ve built a 30-year track record as a C-level executive with TD Waterhouse, J.P. Morgan Chase, Fleet Bank and Aderans Group. Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Marketing, and President were some of the positions I've held.

I know what it takes to hire the right person in key positions — finding that one individual to round out your team. I’ve “lived” building teams that can propel a company. I’ve also made the tough call of changing out a staff member.

On the other hand, as a candidate, I know that hollow feeling of searching for a job and never hearing back, sending out countless résumés, speaking to contacts, and recruiters with little progress for my efforts — no one reaching back out on many days.

I was at the helm when MHR was sold to Aderans, the world's largest wig makers, a Tokyo-exchange listed company in 2007

Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Leavitt Companies — 2 years

Leavitt offered two brands, MHR and Advanced Dermatology, the largest dermatology practice in Florida

Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at TD Waterhouse Group — 9 years

TD Waterhouse was the world’s third largest discount broker
I was part of the executive team that took the company public in 1999

Vice President, Marketing at JP Morgan Chase (Formerly Chemical Bank) — 1 year

I provided marketing programs for branch-based mutual funds and annuities investment counselors

Senior Vice President, Marketing at Bank of America (Formerly Fleet Bank) — 12 years

I started my career at Fleet Bank, running the marketing function for this Long Island community based bank; I transferred to their discount brokerage division to head up the marketing and sales team
